Customer Care Associate

Heys International Ltd- Mississauga, ON

Our goal is to create high quality, stylish, one-of-a-kind travel products that inspires our customers, and to provide them with excellent customer service. 

A Customer Care Associate is responsible for handling customer concerns, with the objective of achieving an excellent level of care and high customer satisfaction at all times, within a fast-paced environment.

Role responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers’ concerns in a polite, friendly, and professional manner via in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, and online chats.
  • Learn and become knowledgeable about the Heys organization, its products and services offered in order to provide well-informed advice to customers seeking assistance.
  • Learn and become proficient with several Heys software applications that are used to communicate with customers, log interaction information, as well as other tasks.
  • To be clear and concise when responding to customers’ questions with the knowledge gained about Heys products and services offered.
  • Complete daily tasks in accordance with the established workplace policies and procedures.
  • Miscellaneous office and administrative support functions when required.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and ability to interact with varying types of customers.

Qualifications/Skills/Job requirement:

  • Highly fluent in English.
  • Proficient in both oral and written communications.
  • Good typing skills.
  • Having a friendly and welcoming manner while always being professional.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, in working with a team.
  • Motivated to achieve results, complete tasks, and work with management to offer suggestions and problem solving.
  • Ability to maintain calm and polite manner even in difficult situations.
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work effectively.
  • A minimum of one year’s Customer Service Experience is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time, in person

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
