Data Compliance Policy


1. Purpose

This policy outlines the procedures and guidelines for requesting the deletion of specific data types and associated retention periods within our organization, in compliance with relevant data protection regulations.

Also explains how customers can request the deletion of their data and related retention periods when using our company applications and services.


2. Data Types and Retention Periods

The data types covered include:

- Personal Information (e.g., names, email, addresses, etc.)
- Financial Records
- Usage Data
- Customer Data

Data retention periods follow legal and business requirements. Once these requirements are met, the data will be deleted.


3. How to Request Data Deletion


3.1  Who Can Request Deletion
- Any customer using our application
- Any customer using our Store resources and services

3.2 How to Request Deletion
Submit a written request (letter or email) to our Customer Care Support Team, the request should included:


- Your full name and contact information
- Specific data types to be deleted
- Reason for the request (Optional)

3.3 Processing Requests 

Upon receipt of a deletion request, the following steps will be taken:


1. **Acknowledgment**: The Customer Service Team Manager or member assigned to the case will confirm receipt of your request within 3 to 5 business days.

2. **Verification**: The Customer Service Team Manager or member assigned to the case will verify your identity and the request's validity.

3. **Evaluation**: The Customer Service Team Manager or member assigned to the case will ensure the request complies with legal and business requirements.

4. **Action**: Approved data will be permanently deleted, and you will be notified when the process is complete.

 

4. Data Retention Periods

Data retention periods will be established based on the following criteria:

- Legal and regulatory requirements
- Customer & Business needs
- Data sensitivity
- Risk management considerations

 

5. Responsibilities

- **Customer Care & Service Manager**: Oversees data deletion requests and ensures compliance.

- **IT Department**: Deletes data from all systems.

- **Customer Support**: Assists customers with submitting requests.

 

6. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed and updated as necessary to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, business or customer services requirements.
